He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Blakely and Vernia Blakely; his birth parents, Aaron and Vernia Blakely; his adoptive parents, Daniel Dietzel and Clara Dietzel; his stepmother Mildred Dietzel; and his former wife Eleanor Dietzel.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Dietzel of Caro; his stepchildren, Susan McCormick (Gary) of Caseville, Rachel Deming (Scott) of Yale, Crystal Luggier of Carsonville, Jill Guiger (Steven) of Snover and Steven Schulz (Jan) of Port Hope; his grandchildren, Noel Hoffa (Bob), Jeremiah Dietzel (Maranda), Thomas Levine, Austin Dietzel (Melissa), Emily Hollin (Luke), Autumn Arp (Brandon), Elijah Dietzel, Lillie Dietzel, Andrew and Johanna Campbell; and his sister Eileen Bedford (John) of Kentucky. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Earl's family will be present to receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to Caro Assembly of God Church.
