She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander LaPratt and Pauline LaPratt (Jacques); her husband Adolph Suranye; her children, David, Lewis Suranye and Marilyn Aberman; and her sons-in-law, Dierck Dean and George Aberman.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Norrington, Michelle Haney (Mark), Goldie Veronica Mooney, Patricia Brown (Michael), Corrine Dean, Naida Rushlo (Darwin) and Leticia Sutter (David); and her daughter-in-law Jan Suranye. She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, and ten great-great-grandchildren.
