He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kern and Wanda Kern (Grunch); his spouse Cleo Mae Kreps; and his mother-in-law Violet Kreps. He is survived by: his children, Tim (Mary Kern), Tom Kern of Reese and Penny (Charlie Kurzer). He is also survived by six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
