It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Gordon Moakes of Caro, Michigan, born in Highland Park, Michigan, who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Gordon Moakes and Nancy Moakes (Avery). He is survived by : his wife Jeanine Kosbar; his grandchildren, Conner, Evan, Ashton, Stephanie and Tiffany; his sisters, Linda, Helen, Susan and Nancy; and also, Angela, Christian Luter, Matthew and Brandy Moakes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Caro Church of the Nazarene (1494 Purdy Rd, Caro, MI 48723).
