It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lee Fitchett of Caro, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on June 24, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, George Fitchett and Eleanor Fitchett (Litzner); his close friend Ruth Hazard; his wife Ruth; his children, James Fitchett, Jr., Scott Fitchett (Debra) and Sandy Wilson (Mike); and his grandchildren, Josh Fitchett, Tamber Fitchett, Ashley Wilson (Joe Lutz), Dustin Wilson (Alyssa), Autumn Fitchett and Aaliyah French Fitchett. He was also cherished by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
