He was predeceased by: his son Zachary James Rice. He is survived by: his wife Robbin Rice of Caro; his daughter Erin Johnson (Jeff); his grandchildren, Parker, Zach, Sully and Lindsey; his father Elmer Rice; and his siblings, Deb Watt, Tim Rice (Denise) and Jodi Rogers (Larry). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 7:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Family Discretionary Fund, c/o Robbin Rice, 205 West Sherman Street, Caro, MI 48723.
