Josephine Payne Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Josephine Payne of Caro, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 14, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reymundo Rendon and Esther Rendon (Varela); her husband Wayne Payne; and her grandson Brent Romain. She is survived by: her children, Ramon Romain, Jr. (Donna), Cindy Partlo (Mark), Randy Romain (Cathy) and Dave Romain (Tina); her grandchildren, Heather Romain, Stephanie Romain, Ryan Romain, Jarred Romain, Shawn Partlo (Tori), Jeff Romain (Kelsey), Kendal Edmonson (Marcus) and Owen Romain; and her siblings, Alice Majask, Nancy Bennett, Ray Rendon, Joann Broadworth and Guadalupe Hall (Doug). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Josephine's family will be present to receive visitors on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at the Ransford Funeral Home in Caro from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the Rosary at 7:30 p.m. and again at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to Cass River Pet Friendz.
