With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Jane Phillips of Caro, Michigan, born in Kingston, Michigan, who passed away on April 15, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Johnson and Cora Johnson (Newton); her husband Charles Phillips; her children, Charles Phillips, Cheryl Daniels and Kimberly Hawkins; and her brother Robert Johnson.

She is survived by : her children, David (Shirley Phillips), Sandra (Gerald Vanderpool), Wayne (Tammy Phillips), Janelle (Dan Dickinson) and Faith (John Miller); her children-in-law, Margo Phillips of Harbor Beach and Rick Hawkins of Manistee; and her siblings, Frank Johnson, Jr. of Caro and Delores (James Cybulski). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home (205 W Sherman St, Caro, MI 48723). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
