He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Lupton and Lucille Lupton (Williams); and his siblings, Judy Ann, Melvin "Bill" (Grace Lupton) and Robert Donald Lupton.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Lupton of Caro; his sons, Kevin (Amy Lupton) and Brian (Jacqueline Lupton); his grandchildren, Kendall, Olivia, Tyler, Alexia and Carter Lupton; and his brother Ural (Joy Lupton) of Fairgrove. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
