He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Atkinson and Martha Atkinson (Thelen); and his brothers, Robert Atkinson and Tom Atkinson (Judy). He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy (Peter Winters) and Nancy (Brian Bondarenko); his grandchildren, Lauren Bondarenko of Texas, Alec Bondarenko of Arizona, Jacob (Ramanda Stout), Josh Stout of Caro, Cameron (Jackie Plowman), Juliana (Joel Lowe), Rocky (Ally Stout), Logan (Shana Stout) and Krystal Headley of Houghton Lake; his great grandchildren, Colton, Cadence Stout, Gavin, Gibson Lowe, Quinn Plowman, Norah, Henry, Evelyn Stout and Declan Headley; his wife Judy K. Atkinson of Caro; his stepchildren, Craig, Kerrie Stout of Lapeer and Mark Stout of Lapeer; his siblings, Jan (Dave Paul) and Jim (Alma Atkinson); and his sister-in-law Barb Atkinson of Holt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
