Robert Lynn Frazer Obituary
Robert Lynn Frazer of Caro, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Medilodge of Cass City. Bob was born September 25, 1952 in Pontiac the son of Ladell Jenks and the late William Frazer. He graduated from Pontiac Northern High School and went on to run his own business, Electric Motor Service in Pontiac. It was through his brother Bob met the former Patricia McNutt. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on September 10, 1976. Bob and Patricia shared over forty-five wonderful years together and many memories. In 2006, Bob retired from General Motors where he worked as a skilled trades machine repairman. After retirement, Bob proudly worked on building and installing many of the quilt blocks of the Thumb Quilt Trail. He was a jack of all trades, from working on and restoring cars, old vehicles, & trailers, to carpentry and woodworking. Bob loved hunting in the U.P. with his family every year. He enjoyed shooting sports, camping, boating, motorcycles, and above all, being with his family.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; children, Katherine Frazer (Mike Gaeth) and William Frazer; beloved granddaughter, Violet; mother, Ladell of Ortonville; siblings, Claudia (Mike) Cole of Rice Lake, Wisconsin, James Frazer of Ortonville, Richard (Raeanne) Frazer of Evergreen, Colorado, and Timothy Frazer of Ortonville; sister-in-law, Kim (Larry) Bossler of Oxford; brother-in-law, Randy (Barbie) McNutt of Beaverton; and many extended family members, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In keeping with Bob's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Caro Roadhouse Museum & Historical Society.
