She was predeceased by : her father Melvin Hercliff; her husband Alfred Giddings; her daughter Mary Giddings; and her brothers, Robert and Richard Hercliff.

She is survived by : her children, Sue Klinesmith (Tim), Margaret Marshall (Dale), Janet Maguire (Jim), Mark Giddings and Karen Cole; and her brother Jack Hercliff (JoAnne). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
