She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Horwath and Louie Horwath. She is survived by: her husband Donald Reid; her children, Roger Reid of Caro, Roxann (Reid) and Tim Severance of Palatine, Illinois; her grandchildren, Kyle Reid (Lynette Jackson) of Caro, Julia Severance of Denver and Tessa Severance of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and her brother Louis Horwath of Blind River, Ontario. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
She helped raise over $2 million for the Caro Hospital Endowment Foundation and was proudly named Caro's Citizen of the Year in 1981.
