He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Lemerise (Christine) and Alfred Lalla; his stepfather Peter Lemerise; his sister Jean Meritt; his brother-in-law Rick Milliron; his son-in-law Ronald Jewett; and his great grandchild Hunter Willingham.

He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his daughters, Kimberly Smiley (Jason), Annie Jewett (Rich Kowalski) and Jane Vancamp (David); his siblings, David Lalla (Linda), Joyce Milliron, Susie Lalla and Christopher Lalla; his grandchildren, Ashley, Joseph Smiley, Leanne Willingham (Will), Amber Helfer (Connor), Cassidy Smiley (Izzy Verde-Acuna) of Kourtni Jewett, R. J, Jesse Jewett, David Kowalski, Paula Kowalski, Skyler Vancamp and Thomas Vancamp; his great grandchildren, Ben, Chase, Makenzie, Jackson, Adam, Noah, Isabella, Elliana and Sophia; and his grandchild RJ.
