It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Louise Helwig of Carson City, Michigan, who passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Helwig and Christie Helwig (McNaughton); her husband Edward Raymond Helwig; her daughter Lorrie Sue Helwig; and her siblings, Leatha Andrew and Kenneth Helwig.
She is survived by: her daughters, LeeAnn Bennett (Mike), Dean Helwig (Sarah Todd) and Lynette Wentworth (David); her grandchildren, Donovan Wentworth, Isobel Veihl (Lain) and Eleanor Wentworth; and her great grandchild Ainsley Veihl. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home-Carson City (816 E Main St, Carson City, MI 48811). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
