With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Peter VanBeelen of Carson City, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Peter left this world on July 26, 2025 at the age of 71, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul VanBeelen and June VanBeelen Bullard (Hoffer); his stepfather Jim Bullard; his sister Patty Lipps; and his siblings-in-law, John Heckman, Susie Barker, Mary, John Devers, Jack, Lynette Peiffer, Pete Peiffer, JoAnn Maybee and Tony Peiffer.
He is survived by: his pet Sadie; his wife Cindy VanBeelen; his children, Tara Matthysse and Jordan VanBeelen; his grandchildren, Ellie, Max, Ashton, Grayson and Addy; his sister Cheryl Nelson; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Lipps, Sherry Heckman, Jim Barker, Skip, Roxie Peiffer, Tom, Doris Peiffer, Joe, Penny Peiffer, Rod, Vicki Peiffer, Fred, Chris Peiffer, Dean Peiffer, Dan Peiffer, Kelly Peiffer and Terry Peiffer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the New Haven Church of the Brethren (7587 Grant Rd, Middleton, MI 48856). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
