She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Schafer and Veronica Schafer (Bierstetel); her husband Lloyd Gesselman; her son Danny Gesselman; and her siblings, Paul Schafer, Ben Schafer, Gerald Schafer, Anthony Schafer, Tommy Schafer, Maryann Kramer and Agnes Bradbury.
She is survived by: her daughter Julie Nelson.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (326 River St, Hubbardston, MI 48845). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
