He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Bass and Geneva Bass; his wife Marlene McGee; his in-laws, Marie McGee, Martin "Dan" McGee, Edward McGee, Thomas McGee and Eileen "Idy" McGee; and his grandson Seth Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Bass of Lapeer, Michelle Davis (Ron) of Millersburg and Michael Bass (Shelley) of Summerville, SC; his grandchildren, Sarah Davis, Shelby Stresky (Cheyne), Geneva Bass, Chandler Bass (Aubrey) and Gabrielle Townsend (Tyler); and his great grandchildren, Silas, Callum, Wrenley, Theodore and Baby B. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Roch Catholic Church (6253 Main St, Caseville, MI 48725). A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
