He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis McDonald and Hariette McDonald (LaPratt); his brothers, Robert McDonald and Richard McDonald; and his sister-in-law Patricia McDonald.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra McDonald-Hangach (Vince) of Dearborn Heights, James McDonald (Margaret Pasanski) of Cass City, Patrick McDonald of Cass City, John Zagorski (Angie) of Cass City and Kimberly Walsh of Cass City; and his grandchildren, Kelby Rowell, Logan Rowell and Joshua Wark. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
