She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Lindsay and Naomi Arloa Lindsay (Gibson); her siblings-in-law, Wayne Conaway, Jim Merchant, William Merchant and Jacque Lindsay (Gabbert); her nephew Dan Conaway; and her former husband Allen John Merchant.
She is survived by: her close friend Patrick Davis; her children, Barbara Jean Tilt (John) of Cass City and John Allen; her grandchildren, Jesse Allen Merchant, Alexandria Mary Tilt and Claire Elise Merchant; her siblings, Charlotte Ann Conaway and Paul Lindsay; her sisters-in-law, Joyce Esckilson (Clinton), Ruth Whittaker (Gerald), Marlene "Cookie" Merchant and JoAn Merchant; her caregiver Heather Ann Pemble; and her cousin Betty Powell. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be made to the family to be used for a donation at a later date.
