He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Hoppe and Florence Hoppe (Fitzgerald); his wife Alicia Deluna; his grandchildren, Tristan Kuntz and Layla Schenk; his children-in-law, Frank Medellin and Christine Hoppe; and his brothers, Patrick Hoppe and Donald Hoppe.
He is survived by: his children, Emily Darr (Greg), Michael Hoppe, Kevin Hoppe, Brian Hoppe, Hazel Filion (Todd), Nadine Kuntz (James), Matthew Hoppe (Danielle), Mary Randall (Larry), Janice Williams (Brian), Tim Hoppe (Beth), Arlene Bozeman (Dan), John Hoppe (Miranda), Sarah Medellin and Isabel Fritz (Keith); and his sister Joanne Byrnes. He is also survived by thirty-nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Emily Darr to be used at the family's discretion or the Alzheimer's Association.
