It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jane Hershberger of Cassopolis, Michigan, who passed away on February 21, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Sheteron and Minnie Sheteron; and her husband James Adrian Hershberger. She is survived by: her children, Sherry Hunt of Edwardsburg, Becky Wright (Kevin) of Cassopolis, James Hersberger (Teresa) of Vandalia, Keith Hershberger of Cassopolis and Kevin Hershberger (Jill) of Cassopolis; her grandchildren, Sherry Linn Bloss (Robert), Cody Pappas, Stephanie Hershberger Knepple, Dan Hershberger (Wren), James W. Hershberger (Allison Elrod), Ruth Ann Wright, Kayla Hershberger, Kyle Hershberger (Kaylee Perrigo), Andrew Hershberger (Calie) and Arminda Hershberger Dussel; her great grandchildren, Camren Pappas, Brody Knepple, William Hershberger, Wyatt Hershberger, Kevin Bruneau, Kaden Bruneau, Dean Dussel, Everly Dussel, Merida Dussel, Jack Hershberger, Zane Hershberger and Ty Below; her brothers, Paul Sheteron (Ellen) and Roy Sheteron (Mary); and her cousin June Westphal. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
