She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Piekarski and Barbara Piekarski (Ward); her brother Lloyd "Butch" Merrill; her daughter Jamie Lynn Smith; and her close friend Jerry Wayne Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Danielle Lynn Smith and Jason Paul Smith; her siblings, Janice Marie Clark of Cassopolis and John David Merrill of Texas; her grandchildren, Alyssa Brown of Justin, Xander Smith Jamie Smith, Ella Smith, Brooklyn Smith, Lyla Smith and Adara Smith; and her great grandchild Aria Jayde. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family prefers contributions in memory of Jacqueline be made to the family in care of the funeral home to offset funeral expenses.
