She was predeceased by: her parents, Maynard Williams and Sara Williams; her husband Robert Leslie Nelson; her siblings, Dorothy Bowers, Arthur Williams and Daniel Williams; and her stepgrandson Jeremy Dowd.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeffory (Catherine Nelson), Richard (Barbara Nelson) and David (Christine Nelson). She is also survived by five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
