We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2024, at the age of 75, Richard A. Mays of Cassopolis, Michigan, born in South Bend, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Edwin and Velma Louise Mays; and his brothers, William Edwin and Harold Earl Mays. He is survived by : his spouse Namiko Hagiwara; his son Richard Mays Jr. (Mary) of Oakland Tennessee; his brother David Clark Mays (Suzzane) of Cassopolis; his grandchildren, William Mays, Connor Mays, Shirley Mays, Mariah Mays and Vivian Blair; his niece Elizabeth Mays; and his nephew David W. Mays.
