She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard L. Cavner; her parents, Charles W. Smith and Harriet F. Smith (Wilson); and her siblings, Charles Smith, Adelbert Smith, Wilson Smith, Irene Jackson and Dorothy Nowak.
She is survived by: her son Gary Cavner (Holly); her grandson Stuart Cavner (Kristy); her great grandchildren, Jackson, Carson and Stella; her granddaughter Courtney English (Chad); her great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Alyvia and Matthew; her son Patrick Cavner (Lori); her grandson Jason Cavner (Brooke); her great grandchildren, Emma and Easton; her granddaughter Amber Marsh (Tim); her great grandchild Landon; her daughter Roberta Shiels (Paul); her grandson Derek Shiels (Adrienne); her great grandchildren, Ayla and Siah; her grandson Craig Shiels (Jen); her great grandchildren, Nolan and Reed; her granddaughter Kimberly Wells (Brad); and her niece Peggy Barker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Rockford Cemetery (240 S Lincoln St, Rockford, MI 49341).
