It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dianna Lou McCardle of Cedar Springs, Michigan, who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Gentz and Myrtle Gentz (Kilpatrick); and her husband Harold "Mac" McCardle. She is survived by: her children, Dean, Sandy Simons, Chris, Mark Hall, Cheryl and Andrew HetJonk; her grandchildren, Rebecca, James Swartz, Jacob Simons, Samantha Avery, Sara Gingerich, Daryl Ezell, Josie, Cody Fudge, Mike Hall, Cassie Aley, Kaden Simons, Mia Simons, Adam and Amber Simons; her great grandchildren, Logan, Elijah, Olivia, Josiah, Paisley, Madison, Regan, Kennedy, Carter, Nik, Maevyn and Millie; and her siblings, Evelyn (Allen Simons), Clem Gentz, Deb (Dennis Simons), Herm (Carmen Gentz), Janet (Bruce Howard), Joann (Bill Line) and Annette Blair. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sparta Church of the Nazarene (665 County Hwy B72 NW, Sparta, MI 49345).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be given to Carlisle Church in Byron Center.
