He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward DeYoung and Ethel DeYoung (Reeder); his granddaughter Pamela Duvall; and his siblings, Patricia Wheaton and Edward DeYoung.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann; his daughters, Wanda Horton, Karen Mattox (Terry) and Lori Johnson (Jason); and his sister Helen Sorgel. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
