Greg leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Greg’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Greg will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Mayo and Alida Mayo (Alger); and his sisters, Ellen Merchant, Gloria Joslin and Darlene Towers.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Steven Mayo (Sue), Peggy Karsies (Dan), Karen Smith (Doug) and Jodi Wilcox (Tom); and his siblings, Rod Mayo and Marilyn Truax. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Magnify Church – Ensley Campus (7077 E 120th St, Sand Lake, MI 49343). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
