He was predeceased by: his parents, Ardy Hanes and Edith Hanes (Atwood). He is survived by: his daughter Tina Simcoe; his son-in-law John Simcoe; his grandchildren, Michael Simcoe and Nikki Hackstedt (Dan); his great grandchildren, Danny and Elise; his daughter-in-law Debra VanLewen; his grandson Luke Dzwonek (Liz); his great grandchild Henry; and his sister Edith Kloe. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
