He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dietrich and Sylvia Joan Dietrich (Wondergem); his brothers, Steven, William and Robert Dietrich; and his grandson Gabriel Chukhin.
He is survived by: his wife Penny Lucille Dietrich; his children, David Dietrich (Jennifer) and Denise Chukhina (Dmitriy Chukhin); his grandchildren, Brynn Dietrich, David Dietrich II, Elijah Chukhin and Eldarion Chukhin; his stepchildren, Joseph Darling (Holly), Sheila Dean (Jeff) and Stephanie Jean (Jason); his stepgrandchildren, Brittany, Brendan, Ashley, Carter, Ryan, Shawn, Chase, Mya and Zane; and his sister Patricia (Larry).
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cedarfield Community Center (3592 17 Mile Rd NE, Cedar Springs, MI 49319).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Cedar Springs Historical Museum, PO Box 296, 60 Cedar Street.
