She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond and Thelma Gillespie Sr. (Tisdel); her husband Dale Thurston; her stepson Paul Thurston; and her siblings, Raymond Gillespie Jr. (Dee Higgins), Darlene St. John, Leonard Gillespie and Lanny Gillespie.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Gale Thurston and Adeana Thurston; her siblings, Edwin Gillespie (Nancy), Debra Merlington, Bruce Duncan and Diane Sipka (Ed); and her in-laws, Darlene Dawood (Joseph), Dawn Klooster (Reg) and Danette Martin (Bob). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
