With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn J. Empie Mullennix of Cedar Springs, Michigan, born in Sparta, Michigan, who passed away on January 16, 2024 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marilyn J. Empie Mullennix to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Leonard Empie and Laural Empie (Bunnel); her daughter Debra Kay Wheaton; her grandchildren, Michael, Eric and Jessica; and her sisters, Rosalee, Barbara, Carol and Lois.

She is survived by : her children, Leland Mullennix (Christine), Stephanie Shepard, Matthew Mullennix (Michelle) and Danielle DeMaso (Greg); and her brothers, Leon Empie, Lyle Empie and Bernard Empie. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
