She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Boer and Elizabeth De Boer (Battjes); her daughter Dawn Battjes; and her siblings, Donny, Jim and Joanne De Boer.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Nichols (Shelley), Julie Sherburne (Roland) and Barbara Bolt. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
