It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert R. Ries of Cedar Springs, Michigan, born in Barberton, Ohio, who passed away on July 30, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Ries and Mildred Ries (Ling); and his sisters, Ruth and Mary. He is survived by: his wife Kathy DeBruyn Anderson Ries; his children, Mark Ries, Steve Ries (Pam), Erika Fannon (Jim), Kirsten Goodspeed (Chip) and Ron Anderson; and his sister Erma Kallenborn. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
