With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel David Magoon Jr. of Cedar Springs, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on August 5, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Judy Singleton (Oom), Timothy Magoon Sr., Thomas Magoon Sr., Michael Magoon Sr., Richard Oom and Jim Oom; and his parents, Ida Magoon (Osborn) and Samuel David Magoon Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Magoon (Gunneson); his children, Lisa Nagelkerk (Nathan), Trisha Watkins (Dave), Amy Magoon and Samuel David "Dave" Magoon III; his sister Bonny Dussel (Magoon-Matteson); his grandchildren, Deanna, Darrell, Shanice, Darrius, Miles, Samantha, Eva and Joe; his great grandchildren, Jay, Josiah, Analise and Aniyah; and his grandchild Mickey. He is also survived by several in-laws, nieces, nephews.
