With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joanne F. Popa of Cedar, Michigan, born in Traverse City, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 4, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Frank Garvin and Helen Garvin (Korb); her grandfathers, Jeffrey (Jean) and Douglas; her husband Anthony "Gabby"; and her son Gregory.

She is survived by : her brother Richard Garvin (Dick); and her son Terrance. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, May 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A rosary was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (6982 S Schomberg Rd, Cedar, MI 49621). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery (6982 S Schomberg Rd, Cedar, MI 49621).
