She was predeceased by: her parents, William Mattson and Helen Mattson (Lou Mattson) of Rudyard; her husband Fred (Herb); her parents-in-law, Ford and Annabelle Izzard; her siblings-in-law, Arbutus, Yvonne McDonald (late Bill), Wilson Izzard (Margie) and Bob Izzard; her stepsiblings, Lyle Strong (late Margaret), Betty Elliot, Gloria Moen (late Dale) and Elizabeth Cheney (late Donald); and her uncle Melbourne Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Izzard of Kinross, Kelly Izzard (Divina) of Hessel and Kim Gay (late Mike) of Cedarville; her grandchildren, Tanya Johnson of Kinross, Madisun LaMothe (late Gary) of Sault Ste, Robert Monck of Cedarville, Ford Izzard of Kinross, Joseph Giddings (Taylor) of Stockbridge, Abbey Izzard of Hessel, Elly Skeans (Shayne) of Hulbert, Alex Hamel (Matthew) of Denver, Kelly Izzard Jr. of Ely and Zach Izzard of Kinross; her great grandchildren, Jaiden Hornung of Sault Ste, Michaela Hornung of Sault Ste, Isabella Glenn of Sault Ste, Isaac Glenn of Sault Ste, Lucinda LaMothe of Sault Ste, Marie, Eliza Wilson, Logan Wilson of Kinross, Bentley Izzard Horde of Pickford, Joseph Giddings Jr. of Stockbridge and Teagan Giddings of Stockbridge; her sisters, Sandra Baumel (Louie) of Bovey and Susan Marr of Cobb, Wisconsin; her sisters-in-law, Jackie Smith (Larry) of Cedarville, Jo Izzard and Margie Izzard; James Melcher (Marie) of Sault Ste and Mike Melcher of Cambridge, Ontario. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Herb returned to Canada during the Covid shut down for health reasons and they continued their relationship over the phone until his passing in June of 2025.
