He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth W. Sheffer and Leona M. Sheffer (Keiser); and his wife Karen Elaine Freed. He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Cook (Kevin) of Brooklyn and Leah Hebert (James) of Howell; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Brooke and Nicholas.
