He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Wetherby and Helen Wetherby; his brother Charlie Wetherby; and his stepsons, Ryan McPherson and Matthew Jenkins.
He is survived by: his son Wesley Wetherby; his grandson Hayden Wetherby; his sister Peggy Gruel; and his sister-in-law Connie Wetherby. He is also survived by his nephews and great nieces and great nephew.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cement City Baptist Church (16788 Cement City Rd, Cement City, MI 49233).
