She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Piriczky and Antoinette "Tosha" Karpanty; her sisters, Delores and Marilyn; her husband Norman Shannon; and her son Richard Shannon.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Shannon (Perry Hileman), Brenda (Robert Yee) and James Shannon; her daughter-in-law Michell Shannon; and her grandchildren, Caitlin Yee, Carolyn Yee, Allison Shannon and Daniel Shannon.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rudy Funeral Home (25650 Van Dyke Ave, Center Line, MI 48015). A prayer will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Familes Catholic Church (25320 Van Dyke Ave, Center Line, MI 48015). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
