Gerald leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Gerald’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Gerald will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Brian Balch and Christopher Balch (Tina Lucy); his brothers, John Balch (Karen) and Jack Balch; and his nieces and nephews, Jake, Johnny and Jessie.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rudy Funeral Home (25650 Van Dyke Ave, Center Line, MI 48015).
