He was predeceased by: his mother Pam Herzig. He is survived by: his children, Jacob Herzig and Jillian Herzig; his father John Herzig, Sr.; his sister Keirsten Herzig-Schwartz; and his niece Beth (Patrick). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
