She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Tony McKenney and Anna McKenney; her husband Jim Smith; her children, Barbara Ann Kowal (Jim) of Bellaire, James Smith Jr. (Sandy) of Bellaire, Sara Goldberg (Jeff) of Central Lake and Sharon Smith of Central Lake; and her grandchildren, Robbi Case (Amy), Corey Case (Tina), Rhonda Chadima (Bryan), James Smith III (Anne), Michael Smith, Arielle Kowal, Christopher Higby (Amber) and Lyndie Michanowicz (Alex).
In lieu of flowers, please direct memorial contributions to the Amberstrong fund at 4 Front Credit Union or to one of the family members to assist with the medical expenses for Barb's granddaughter, Amber Higby, who recently suffered a brain aneurysm.
