He was predeceased by: his parents, Maury Edleman and Helen Edleman (Jacobsen); and his brother Tom Edleman. He is survived by: his wife Nancy White; his children, Mari Persons (Vinton), Heidi Stellin (Don) and John, Jr. (Sara); and his grandchildren, Maggie Persons, Katie Persons, Christian Stellin, Liesl Stellin, Anna Edleman and Aurora Edleman.
