Lucille Leona Elder Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucille Leona Elder (Central Lake, Michigan), who passed away on March 20, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claud Brown and Elizabeth Brown (VanDerMaas); her husband Albert; and her siblings, Russel, Don, Paul, Frank, Marie, Hazel (Shorter), Dorothy (Diot), Evelyn (Gerish), Eleanor (Rowden) and Irma (Maybank).
She is survived by: her children, Terry Elder (Ami Mateskon) of Petoskey, Pam Elder Wixson of Cheboygan and Gaye Elder Hodge (Jack) of Charlevoix; and her grandchildren, Dean Burley of Colorado Springs, Delaney Hodge Moore (Garret) of Ann Arbor and Allie Hodge of Ann Arbor. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Michigan Veteran Homes, StandinguptoPOTS.org, or McLaren Hospice of Northern Michigan in her honor. And a special thank you from her family to the staff at Boulder Park Terrace!Rest in peace Nama Lucy, and give Papa a kiss for us.
