He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton Meggison and Edna Meggison (McDowell); his wife Margie Meggison (Conner); his daughters, Cheryl Hite and Patricia Robinson; and his sisters, Mildred Blackwell, Alice Edwards and Betty Ann Glasgow.
He is survived by: his daughters, Terry VanTine of Central Lake and Joanie O'Brien of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Levi VanTine of Seattle, WA, Valerie VanTine of Chicago, IL, Joseph O'Brien (Samantha) of Charlotte, Jessica O'Brien of Charlotte, Tina Hite of Central Lake and Crystal Hite of Central Lake; and his great grandchild Aubree O'Brien. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
