With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Rankins of Ceresco, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles David Rankins and Marietta Louise Stoughton (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Angela Lapp-Rankins; his children, Noah Postma and Amie Rankins; his stepchildren, Andy Lapp (Raquel) and Lisa Lapp (Taylor); his grandchildren, Cameron, Seth, Talon, Maleah, Weston and Adrianna (Eli); his great grandchildren, Evelyn and Carter; his brother John Rankins; and his pet Abby. He is also survived by father, grandfather and friend and his love for his family.
A celebration of David's life will be held at the Eckford Community Center, January 25, 2026 at 4:00pm at 99 Maple Street, Homer, MI 49245, Memorial donations may go to Erin's Angels Rescue, 498 Ridge Road., Quincy, MI 49082.
