He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Anderson and Martha Anderson Sr. (Basham); his sister Mary Elizabeth Christiansen; and his son Carl Edward Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Johnene "Sunny" Anderson; his children, Dawn M. Varty of Big Bay, Aaron V. Anderson and Christopher R. Anderson of Ishpeming; and his siblings, Judith Helwig (Joseph) of Republic, Barbara Revello (Jim) of Ishpeming, Karen Howe (Dennis) of Diorite and Paul Anderson (Towanda) of De Pere, WI. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
