He is survived by: his wife Wilma "Willy" Helgren; his brothers, Ralph Helgren of Cypress and Dorias "Butch" Helgren of Bay City, Michigan; his children, Dr. Robert "Bobby" Helgren (Kathie) of Medina, James "Jim" Helgren of Channing and Cheryl "Shari" Tollefson (Hans) of Channing, Michigan; and his grandchildren, Alex Helgren (Rebecca "Becca"), Marissa Gold (Daniel "Danny"), Kathryn "Kate" Glocke (Nathan "Nate"), Bethany Meier (Peter), Jenna Aho (Brandon) and Alicia Tollefson. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
